Before you go
If you're travelling to Lapland with us this December, here is some useful information before you travel.
We hope you find the information you need on this page or elsewhere on this site (eg FAQs). Anything else, do phone, but please bear with us as we receive a huge volume of calls in the days leading up to Christmas. Rest assured we will answer your call as soon as possible.
You can expect to receive the tickets for your flight approximately seven days prior to departure. If you haven't received them within three days, please call us to arrange ticket on departure.
Please arrive at the airport ready to check-in two hours prior to departure.
Due to recent changes in hand luggage restrictions, please refer to the attached DFT guidelines. (Download)
You will be provided with an all-in-one thermal suit and boots on arrival (supplied either in the airport or before you begin your activities). It is especially important that you bring a warm hat, scarf and gloves.
Further guidelines include: Take lots of extra gloves, socks and scarves.
Thermal underwear, long sleeve vests and long johns are recommended.
Wear lots of thin loose fitting layers so you can add or remove layers as required.
Wearing thermal boots two sizes too big allows for extra socks.
Wear a pair of thin gloves under a thicker pair.
Denim and polyester are not recommended.
If you wish to wear your own boots, you must come equipped with thermal or decent walking boots. Neither trainers nor wellingtons are sufficient.
