Few things could be more special than a true snow white wedding that takes place deep inside the Arctic Circle!
Imagine, your Lapland wedding carriage could be a sleigh, beautifully decorated, and drawn by reindeer! The groom and best man might even arrive by husky sled or snowmobile! The setting for your big day will be the village of Hetta, in Lapland, Northern Finland. Hetta has an attractive church, with its distinctive slender bell tower and your Lapland wedding can be conducted either in the church - with its magnificent views across the wintry wonderland of th Pallas-Yllastunturi national park - or in the nearby Ice Chapel, built from ice anew each year.
Later, as you celebrate your white wedding, perhaps the Northern Lights will dance overhead - the ultimate blessing for your union!
Your accommodation will be the Davvi Arctic Lodge in Karesuando, Lapland, which has comfortable guest facilities to ensure all are looked after.

Lapland Wedding Transfers
Coach or private minibus/car transfers can be provided to and from the venue and hotel. Snowmobile, reindeer or husky sleigh can also be arranged between the venue and a nearby starting point.
Wedding Venue in Lapland
Either in Hetta main church or in Ice Chapel (rebuilt every year and therefore it does very from year to year). The church's magnificent altar mosaic depicts wonderful views of the nature of the fells.
Wedding Flowers
A local florist will be on hand to provide bouquets, as well as buttonholes. However, temperatures can be extremely cold and the bride and bridesmaids may consider keeping their hands warm inside a fur muff.
Hairdressing
We can ensure that the bride receives the creative attentions of an excellent local hairdresser, to ensure she looks her very best on the big day.
Welcome drinks and packages
A welcome drink can be served to guests when they arrive at the reception/wedding celebration, whether you want a champagne or traditional Finnish Glogi, a hot drink served with sultanas and almonds. A wide range of options are available.
Wedding meal
There is a wide range of choices for your celebration meal, including buffets, set menus, a la carte, children's menus etc and all these options can be disussed at length with our Lapland wedding planners. For larger parties, the function can be arranged in a delightful private venue.
Wedding cake
We can organise a wedding cake of your choice, decorated just as you want it.
Finishing touches
Decorations/candles/flowers/open fires can all be arranged on request to make your celebration memorable.
Hot air balloon
We can even organise a memorable flight over Lapland's winter scenery in a hot air balloon for the bride and groom. Whilst this is undoubtedly an unforgettable experience, it is subject on the day to local weather conditions and can therefore be cancelled for safety reasons, without refund.
PLEASE NOTE: Minimum group size is 8 persons. It is rcommended that the bride and groom take a 7-night break due to the formalities which will be completed. Cape hire for the bride is available, please speak to our Lapland wedding planner. Ceremony and venue may be subject to local requirements and Lapland customs.
